HOW IT WORKS

Spinal Flow sessions involve gentle touches on specific points of the spine and skull to encourage the body to release stored tension. The seven gateways and thirty three access points in the Spinal Flow Technique helps me to grow ease along your spinal column. This helps the nervous system shift from a state of sympathetic dominance (fight/flight/freeze) to a parasympathetic state of healing. Greater flexibility in the spine enables signals from the brain to travel throughout your body without interference, enhancing your well-being and enabling your body's natural intelligence to function at its best.

WHO IS SPINAL FLOW FOR?

Numerous physical, mental, and emotional symptoms can arise when the spine is under tension. Similar to how you would care for a sick apple tree by nurturing the entire tree, not just each individual apple, Spinal Flow aims to address the root cause of symptoms instead of merely treating the symptoms themselves.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Arrival

You will remain fully clothed during each Spinal Flow session, so please wear loose-fitting clothing if possible. Stiff garments like jeans may hinder the session's effectiveness.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early. This will give you time to relax and be fully present before we begin.

Your FIrst Visit

Your first visit includes a spinal assessment, consultation, and healing session, allowing you to determine if Spinal Flow is right for you.If you choose to continue, we’ll schedule a series of sessions based on our findings and your needs. We can pre-book these sessions to ensure availability in the calendar for you.

Frequency

We typically schedule Spinal Flow care in three phases:

  • Initial Intensive Care: Most people start here, with frequent visits depending on the severity of your condition. The main goal is to reduce or eliminate your most noticeable symptoms.
  • Corrective Care: This phase focuses on stabilising spinal function and promoting more complete healing.
  • Wellness Care: This helps prevent minor problems from becoming serious. With optimal spinal function restored, many clients incorporate ongoing Spinal Flow sessions into their personal wellness routine.

At any stage of care, the frequency of your sessions is entirely up to you. We will only recommend what we believe is best for you, aiming for the fastest possible results.

After Your Session

It’s beneficial to give yourself some time after a Spinal Flow session to:

  • Go for a walk: We will use techniques to help balance your sacrum, and walking afterward will assist your body in adjusting to this new position.
  • Drink plenty of water: Your body may release toxins during a Spinal Flow session, and drinking purified water will help you eliminate them.
  • Take care of yourself: Support your body’s healing process by eating well and getting to bed early.
Symptoms

As your body releases stress, you may experience various symptoms that typically subside within a few days. If these symptoms are bothersome, please contact us. Another session might help alleviate them more quickly, and in such rare cases, we usually offer a reduced rate.

Please remember that Spinal Flow is not a substitute for your regular healthcare provider. If you need to consult your doctor or another medical practitioner, we encourage you to do so.

Results

Many clients experience immediate and progressively deeper improvements in their physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. For others, it may take several months to release the layers of stress accumulated in their spine over a lifetime. If Spinal Flow does not meet your expectations, you are welcome to cancel any pre-booked sessions with sufficient notice.
