OlyLife Tera-P90 Contraindications and Safety Information

Before using the OlyLife Tera-P90, it is important to read the manufacturer's safety information and check that the device is suitable for you.

Manufacturer's Contraindications

The OlyLife Tera-P90 instruction manual states that the device is not suitable for the following:

1. Patients with heart disease.
2. Pregnant women and infants.
3. Patients with lung complications.
4. Patients with impaired consciousness.
5. Patients with a body temperature above 37°C.
6. Patients using life-sustaining equipment, such as heart-lung support equipment.
7. Patients with a bleeding tendency, such as uterine fibroids or during a menstrual period.
8. Patients with reduced sensitivity to heat in the lower limbs, such as where there is nerve compression or diabetic foot.
9. Patients with a pacemaker or metallic artificial implants.

Before Your Session

Before an OlyLife Tera-P90 session with Love & Light Ireland, please tell us if any of the manufacturer's contraindications apply to you.

If you are unsure whether the P90 is suitable for you because of a medical condition, medication, implanted device or any other health concern, please speak with your healthcare professional before using the device.

Love & Light Ireland does not diagnose medical conditions or determine whether a person is medically suitable for use of the P90. Where there is uncertainty, the session will not proceed until appropriate advice has been obtained.

During Your Session

The OlyLife Tera-P90 should be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. You should tell the practitioner immediately if you feel unwell, experience discomfort or notice anything unusual.

The session should be stopped if you become unwell or experience an unexpected reaction.

For Events and the Dublin Marathon Expo

If you are considering an OlyLife P90 session at an event, please remember that being at a sporting event does not automatically mean the device is suitable for you.

Runners should not use the P90 if any of the manufacturer's contraindications apply. If you are feeling unwell or are unsure about your suitability, please speak with a healthcare professional before using the device.
